Most importantly, the starting material and process used to produce your favorite concentrate has a major impact on how it’s stored.
For example, concentrates made from fresh-frozen flower, often called ‘live’, require cold storage conditions to preserve the delicate and volatile compounds that are present in the plant’s living profile. Meanwhile, craft solventless concentrates like ice water hash or rosin, made without the use of chemicals like butane, often require particularly careful storage to maintain their exceptional quality.
