We were excited to welcome the community to our newest Solful location in Petaluma. The space was thoughtfully designed to reflect everything we believe cannabis retail should be. From April 10–12, we opened our doors with a three-day celebration built around the things that matter most to us: craft cannabis, the farmers behind it, and the community that brings it all together.
This was an opportunity for guests to experience Solful in its fullest form. From the products on our shelves to the people they met in-store, every detail was rooted in our commitment to quality, transparency, and connection.
Whether visitors had been part of the Solful community for years or were stopping by for the first time, we were grateful to share that moment with them.
What We Planned for Opening Weekend
Here’s what visitors experienced:
- Gift bags featuring limited-edition Solful goods
- Early access to exclusive 4/20 releases
- A full lineup of farmers and makers in-store
- Vinyl music sets throughout the day
- Pop-ups from local creators like Dom Chi Designs
- Non-alcoholic pours from Lagunitas
- Special savings across the shop
We kicked things off with a ribbon cutting on April 10 at 9AM, and the energy carried through the entire weekend.
Meet the People Behind the Products
One of the most important parts of Solful has always been our direct relationship with the farmers we work with.
Throughout the weekend, guests had the chance to meet growers from across Northern California, including:
These were the people behind the cannabis on our shelves. Visitors were invited to ask questions, hear their stories, and learn more about how their products were grown.
Exclusive Drops You Could Only Find Here
We brought in a range of limited releases for opening weekend, including select products not available anywhere else. One of the highlights was our “Closed on Sundays” collaboration with Sonoma Hills Farm, created to celebrate our arrival in Petaluma. This special release combined the iconic Pink Jesus cultivar with Chicken & Waffles, resulting in a unique expression that reflected both the farm’s legacy and the spirit of the moment.
Available as pre-rolls and featured in our opening weekend gift bags, this drop represented our commitment to craft cannabis, thoughtful partnerships, and offering something genuinely special to our community.
Handpicked Reserve & Hash Holes
Guests also had early access to:
- Hash Holes — infused pre-rolls made with sun-grown flower and live rosin
- Handpicked Reserve Flower — small-batch selections from trusted craft farms
Every product reflected our focus on quality, intention, and the traditions of Northern California cannabis.
Grand Opening Gift Bags
To mark the opening, we offered a limited run of gift bags available with a $25 purchase. Each one was packed in a custom Solful tote and included a mix of:
- Flower and pre-rolls
- Exclusive releases
- Solful private label products
- Everyday essentials
What Makes Solful Different
Everything we do is rooted in a simple idea: cannabis should be grown well, sourced responsibly, and shared with intention. At Solful, that philosophy guides every decision we make, from the farms we partner with to the products we bring into our stores. We focus on sun-grown cannabis from Northern California, embracing cultivation methods that work in harmony with the land rather than against it.
By building long-term relationships with small, independent farms, we’re able to support the people behind the plant while ensuring a level of quality and care that can’t be replicated at scale. Every product we carry is thoughtfully curated to reflect true craft, never mass-produced, always intentional.
And beyond the products themselves, we’ve designed our retail spaces to feel welcoming, educational, and connected, so that every visit is not just a transaction, but an experience rooted in trust, transparency, and community.
Looking Back on Opening Weekend
Opening weekend marked the beginning of something bigger—a space built around connection, quality, and a deeper appreciation for the craft behind cannabis.
Whether guests stopped by for the gift bags, explored exclusive drops, met the farmers, or simply experienced the space, we were grateful to welcome them into the Solful community. Those three days reflected what Solful stands for, and we look forward to continuing to build on that foundation.
